Eastman Camera Club Looking For Volunteers

The Eastman Camera club is a completely volunteer organization.   Not the UT kind, but one run by people with an interest in photography who are willing to help.   Some of our 2015 officers are rotating off the Board and we are looking for people who are willing to step up and help keep the club running.

Officer duties are shared among all the members of the Board.  They include

  • Planning the annual travelogues
  • Determining how to spend the club budget
  • Organizing and/or leading outings
  • Organizing and/or leading programs during the monthly meeting
  • Doing communication (this blog and facebook)

You don't have to be an expert photographer, just willing to pitch in and help.   In fact, we would like new photographers to make sure the needs of others who are new to photography are represented.

The commitment is for one year, but you can always stay on for longer.   It's not a lot of work, but it does take a team so no one person is over burdened.

Interested?  What to know more?  Contact Richard Siggins (rsiggins@eastman.com) to talk about how you can help.
