Eastman Camera Club joins Camera Club Council of Tennessee

As a club member of the Camera Club Council of Tennessee (3CT) our members can participant in their special events and contests.  The purpose of the Council is to foster a spirit of fellowship, sharing, and competitiveness among member clubs. In the last two years they have hosted four weekend field trips one of which included a workshop, and one Interclub Photo Contest. Plans are in the works for at least two trips this year and another contest.

3CT is a member of PSA and the 3CT In Focus Newsletter took second place in 2012 and first place in 2013 for nationwide PSA Council member newsletters. The newsletter features a section that shares program/speaker information. This can be a great resource for those club members who wouldn't mind traveling to another club to hear a particular speaker. They also report on special events, for example workshops, that members might be interested in attending, not to mention the fun and interesting types of activities and projects other clubs offer that might prove to be something our group might want to try.  Here is a link to their latest newsletter: http://www.3ct.org/wp-content/uploads/Newsletters/Vol-3_4-April-2014.pdf

3CT now offers lifetime memberships for $25.00 per person for those who do not belong to camera clubs and for club members who just want to individually support the Council.

You can now sign-up and pay right online at http://www.3ct.org/membership/club-membership-details/ If you prefer to pay by check: Make it out to Camera Club Council of Tennessee and mail it to Les Milligan, Treasurer at 2850 Pen Hook Road, Monterey, TN. 38574.
