Photographers Needed October 23 & 24.

On October 23 and 24, Eastman and NET Section of ACS will host the 22nd annual award winning National Chemistry Week celebration.  Over 30,000 children have participated in this event since its inception in 1991.     Eastman partners with the Northeast Tennessee Section of the American Chemical  Society (NETS-ACS) to sponsor “Celebration of Chemistry for 4th Graders.”  Volunteers are needed to take pictures during this two day event.

A Season in the Garden

Larry Dean will be presenting a fast paced slide presentation with music, sound effects, and beautiful photography showcasing plants, flowers and nature in the "garden".  You'll want to come to this program and bring your friends.

Larry retired retired in 2004 after 34 years of service in Eastman Chemical's Photographic Services.  His photographic career has included newspaper, portrait, industrial, wedding and commercial photography.  As an adjunct faculty member at Virginia Intermont, Larry taught photo classes in Large Format Photography.  Larry holds a Master of Photography Degree from the pretigious Professional Photographers of America.

Larry has had cover photographs for Professional Photographer, Who's Who in Professional Photography, Textile Science and photos used in USA Today, as well as several other publications.

Awards received from: Professional Photographers of America, Society for Technical Communication, Eastman Kodak's International Photo Competition, Public Relations Society of America and ADDY Awards from Tri-City Metro Advertising Federation.  Larry has had several photographs accepted into the Loan Collection of the Professional Photographers of America; this organization's highest level of Merit.

Larry continues to do free lance commercial work.
