The club is sponsoring a trip to DuPont State Forest in NC this Saturday October 13. It's the Friends of DuPont's annual Tour de Falls weekend. The club made this trip a couple years ago and had a blast.
There are several good things about this outing:
1. Fall colors in the mountains.
2. No hiking required. They run shuttle busses around the park this day.
3. Great fellowship
Pete Cullota will be leading this trip to the falls and back Saturday. Here's the specifics
Meet: McDonals on John B. Dennis off exit 4 of I-26.
Time: Be there around 6:30 AM to hit the road at 6:45
Back: - This is an all day outing. Last time we did this we stopped for dinner on the way back.
Cost: $12/person donation plus gas money for the drivers.
