Monthly Photo Challenge
We will be restarting the monthly photo challenge.   The purpose of the challenge is to encourage us to get out of our photographic comfort zone and try new things.   By sharing our photos we all learn from each other.  It's not a competition but you can expect the rewards of constructive feedback.

The challenge for the November meeting is to photograph some of the many pianos that are outside in downtown Kingsport.   Have fun and get creative in your composition.  

Please plan on bringing your favorite 3 piano photos to the November 19 meeting.

Richard Siggins will review some of the newest features of Adobe Lightroom CC, discuss the pros/cons of Adobe CC (software rental), and demonstrate some favorite photo editing techniques.   This is not an in-depth Lightroom class.  That would take about 8 hours.   This will help Lightroom users understand the new features and give non-Lightroom users a glimpse into the most popular photo editing tool.

Outing Saturday
Don't forget the outing to Exchange Place at 2:00 this Saturday.  Please register online to let me know if you will be coming.  That way I can contact you if there are any changes in plans.

Photo Outing - Exchange Place In The Fall

Exchange Place is a great place for photography and the Fall is about the best time of year.  We will spend a couple hours photographing the old buildings, grounds, animals, each other, and anything or anyone else that doesn't object.

When: October 17, 2:00 - 4:00

Where: Exchange Place 4812 Orebank Rd, Kingsport, TN 37664 (map).  Just meet there.
